Your Financial Plans
Your Financial Plans are the parts of a business plan that tend to be least considered by speakers. And that’s a shame, because your financial plan is possibly the most important section of your entire plan.
But if you're dreading tackling developing your financial plans, don't worry. Although a formal business plan can require extensive and detailed financial plans, many of them are not necessary for the service-oriented small-businesses operated by most speakers.
Consequently, there are only two financial summaries which most speakers need to include in their working business plans — a budget and a cashflow analysis. Most speakers are already comfortable with the idea of a budget, so we'll explore that one first.
